Spirit Lab Distilling is the oldest legal distillery in Charlottesville, Virginia, owned and operated by Sarah and Ivar Aass. They craft all spirits on-site using a 300-liter Portuguese copper pot still, with no sourced spirits. Located at 1503 6th Street SE, they are known for their experimental approach to whiskey, gin, and brandy production.
