The Ruptured Duck is the official name of the distillery tasting room at Old House Vineyards, a family-owned winery, distillery, and brewery located in Culpeper, Virginia at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Created in honor of World War II Veterans, the space has become a place for individuals to share pieces of their family history, such as grandfather’s uniforms, letters from friends, and photos of fathers. The distillery focuses on quality by examining the unique properties that make each spirit identifiable and then seeking to improve upon those elements to establish a specific spirit while maintaining its integrity.
