Sweetgrass Farm Winery & Distillery is a family-run craft distillery in Union, Maine that has been producing award-winning spirits since 2005 under the leadership of founder Keith Bodine, who brings expertise from UC Davis and decades in the alcohol industry. After a devastating fire in September 2025 permanently closed their Union and Portland locations, the operation continues Back River Gin in partnership with Mossy Ledge Spirits in Etna, Maine.
