About
Founded in 2014 by Kevin Lloyd in Bellefonte’s historic Match Factory, Big Spring Spirits is Pennsylvania’s first LEED Gold certified distillery. They source local grain and water from the award-winning Big Spring, aging their spirits in toasted charred American oak barrels (over 650 barrels, oldest being 8 years old). The distillery emphasizes locally-sourced ingredients, community partnerships with Pennsylvania farmers and artisans, and produces everything from whiskeys to gin using the exceptional spring water that rivals Kentucky limestone waters.
