Heaven's Door Distillery

Heaven’s Door Distillery is a craft whiskey distillery located on over 160 acres of rolling hills astride Six Mile Creek in Pleasureville, Kentucky, with a history of development dating back to 2017. The property, once owned by Squire Boone (brother of Daniel Boone), features two stillhouses housed in towering western horse barns, a Visitor’s Center with tasting rooms overlooking the valley, an 18th-century grist mill, and two restored 18th-century cabins. The distillery is led by Master Distiller Ken Pierce, a 40-year industry veteran who previously served as Master Distiller at Barton Brands’ 1792 Distillery, and produces small-batch bourbon on custom Vendome stills using water from two underground aquifers while maintaining EPA ENERGY STAR certification for sustainable operations.
