Purple Toad Winery & Distillery is a family-owned winery and distillery located in Paducah, Kentucky, founded in 2009 by Allen Dossey and his son Steven. The name originates from the color of toes when grapes were pressed the old-fashioned way, and they combine modern winemaking techniques with old-world knowledge to produce award-winning wines. In addition to their award-winning wines, the family has expanded into distillation, crafting spirits including bourbons, whiskeys, vodka, moonshine, and agave spirits—all bottled at their Paducah facility with a focus on traditional methods and quality ingredients.
