Jackson Purchase Distillery is a contract distilling and bulk aged whiskey facility located in Fulton County, Kentucky—the westernmost county in the Commonwealth, along the Mississippi River valley. Founded in 2021, the distillery is led by seventh-generation Master Distiller Craig Beam and Head Distiller Terry Ballard, who together bring over half a century of distilling experience and represent five generations of award-winning whiskey makers including eleven members of the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame. They produce Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, rye, and American Single Malt Whiskey for both their own Jackson Purchase brand and contract clients, crafting authentic American whiskeys using 100% copper stills and benefiting from the warmest summers in Kentucky that give bourbon six to eight additional weeks of warmer weather each year.
Established by the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, this bourbon has long been considered a measure of a distiller’s skill, patience, and consistency, crafted using 70% corn, 20% rye, and 10% malted barley, aged for a minimum of four years in #4 char new white oak barrels.
