Essential Spirits Alambic Distilleries is a service disabled veteran owned and operated micro-distillery established in 1996 in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, with roots as a true Silicon Valley garage project. Their state-of-the-art Alambic (pot) still, hand-formed by one of France’s premier still makers and the only one of its kind in the United States, produces soft, medium-bodied spirits from a variety of high-quality ingredients including fruits, wines, pomaces, and brews.

Classick, The ORIGINAL American Bierschnaps
This 80 proof European-style schnapps is brewed from their own American Pale Ale with aroma hopping only, then transferred directly from the fermenter to the still to capture all subtle nuances, resulting in a soft yet complex distillate akin to a rock-candy white whiskey.
Dunkirk Spirit Gin
An American-style gin emphasizing other botanicals and minimizing juniper influence, soft and floral with almost sweet characteristics from notes of tangerine peel and lavender flower.
Estate Grappas (Briarstone Vineyards)
Made from pomace of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes vinified in the Oakville district by one of Napa Valley’s premium wineries, produced from absolutely fresh pomace only hours old when distillation commences.
PurePear Pear Brandy
A limited release available only at the distillery, this 375mL brandy is made from 12.5 pounds of 100% Bartlett (Williams) pears from the fabled orchards of Lake County, Northern California, ripened in-house to peak perfection and hand-processed.
Sgt. Classick Rums
The Spirit of Hawai’i, these rums were made from 100% Hawaiian molasses from the islands of Kaua’i and Maui and are now a limited, no-longer-produced vintage since commercial sugar refining ended in Hawaii in 2006.
Tahoe Blue Vodka
Distilled from three different base ingredients—50% sugar cane, 25% grape, and 25% grain—this vodka carries a true Lake Tahoe native ethos of giving back to the community with a Drink Good, Do Good philosophy.
