Located in a converted dry boathouse on the shores of Cultus Bay on Whidbey Island, Washington, this self-built craft distillery by partners Kathy Parks and Harry Sloan uses decades of traditional distilling expertise combined with custom hand-built pot stills to produce small-batch, handcrafted spirits from locally grown Washington State ingredients, while maintaining environmental stewardship through closed-circuit water recycling, spent grain fed to local sheep, and specially heat-treated Tennessee white oak barrels for aging.
