Left Turn Distilling is Albuquerque’s first distillery, named after the famous Bugs Bunny catchphrase ‘I knew I should have turned left in Albuquerque.’ The distillery uses locally sourced ingredients and traditional distilling techniques, with all equipment handcrafted by founder Brian Langwell, to create quality spirits ranging from whiskey to vodka. Located at 2924 Girard Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, they operate three taproom locations in Albuquerque.
A traditional corn whiskey made with locally sourced roasted and ground blue corn, triple distilled in a handmade copper artisan potstill and gently aged in used bourbon barrels to achieve balance of color and smoothness, fermented and distilled at an elevation of 5,300 feet in the shadow of the Sandia Mountains.
