Located in historic downtown Greeley, Colorado, Syntax Spirits is an award-winning, small-batch craft distillery producing grain-to-glass spirits since 2010. Led by owner and head distiller Heather Bean, the all-female production staff crafts every product from scratch using local ingredients and pure Colorado Poudre River water, employing sustainable practices and never blending with neutral grain spirits or products from other distilleries.
Made entirely from 100% local wheat through a traditional grain-to-glass process of grinding, mashing, fermenting, and distilling in handmade column stills before carbon filtering, earning Gold Medals from the Beverage Tasting Institute and Microliquor International Spirits Awards.
Made from 100% American dark cane molasses blended with Rocky Mountain whitewater, fermented and distilled then aged in whiskey barrels with a touch of the same molasses for a rich, smooth flavor featuring vanilla, nougat, caramel, malt, sweet cereal, and brown sugar notes.
The unaged version of their Heavy Rum, maintaining the clean, smooth, sugary character from the molasses fermentation and distillation process, which has received a Good Food Award, Silver Medal from MicroLiquor International Spirits Awards, and Bronze Medal from the Beverage Tasting Institute.
