WildRye Distilling is a small-batch craft distillery based in Bozeman, Montana, founded in 2013 with a mission to produce authentically Montana spirits using locally sourced ingredients. They distill and bottle all their spirits on-site in Bozeman, using Montana-grown corn, barley, juniper, huckleberries, and Flathead cherries, reflecting their commitment to exploration, quality, and community. Their award-winning lineup includes bourbon, rye whiskey, brandy, vodka, and gin — each crafted with intention and inspired by Montana’s landscapes.

Spirits

Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon Barrel Rye Whiskey

Distilled from Montana-grown rye and barley in a single season and aged over four years in used Five Drops Bourbon barrels on custom-built pot stills, bottled at 100 proof in limited annual releases.

Bourbon Barrel Rye Whiskey

Aged at least 2 years at 98 proof, crafted from locally grown and malted rye and barley, finished in WildRye’s own Five Drops Bourbon barrels for a bold, spicy character smoothed with hints of vanilla.

EichenKirsch Brandy

Made from hand-harvested Montana Flathead cherries aged in oak barrels, distilled in small batches using pure mountain water for a rich, complex brandy.

Five Drops Bourbon Barrel Rum

Aged in WildRye’s own Five Drops Bourbon barrels for a bold, spicy character with hints of vanilla, bottled at 80 proof.

Five Drops Montana Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Aged at least 2 years at 90 proof, crafted with locally grown sweet corn and malted barley from Montana family farms, distilled with pure mountain water and aged in charred American oak barrels for a smooth, rich Montana character.

Premium Vodka

Triple-distilled in-house from Montana corn using pure mountain water, unflavored and crafted for exceptional smoothness.

Queen Bee Honey Gin

A honey gin made with Montana wildflower honey, juniper, and other botanicals, capturing the essence of Montana’s natural landscape in a uniquely floral gin.
