Landmark Whiskey
A craft whiskey produced at Great Plains Distillery, representing the founders’ years of experimentation with different ingredients and component configurations to perfect their recipe.
Great Plains Distillery is Nebraska’s first micro-distillery in the Panhandle region, located in Scottsbluff. Founded by Phil Mitchell and Austin Propp, who started with a 15-gallon beer keg converted to a still and later upgraded to a 120-gallon reflux still in 2017, the distillery produces craft spirits using locally-sourced ingredients while preserving the region’s bootlegging heritage from prohibition-era barn stills.
