About

Of The Earth Farm Distillery is a Missouri craft distillery located in the gently rolling hills of northwest Missouri near Richmond in the Kansas City region. Founded in 2011 by Jim Pierce and Sarah Burnett Pierce, the distillery began after Jim attended a fruit conference in Nebraska where he learned about turning fruit into spirits (Eau de Vie), which inspired the creation of their flagship Apple Brandy. The farm-to-bottle operation grows its own fruits, herbs, and grains, producing small-batch craft spirits that connect to the Missouri land they come from.

Spirits

Apple Brandy

The flagship Eau de Vie made from On The Earth Farm’s own apples, featuring sweet apple notes on the nose followed by barrel flavors on the palate, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

Beetroot Spirit

A distillate from the garden with an earthy aroma and flavor of this crimson root crop, perfect in savory cocktails like a Bloody Mary.

Blackberry Liqueur

Made from whole blackberries with an intense blackberry flavor and sweet-tart balance, versatile in mixed drinks and perfect for Sangrias or Spritzers.

Cherry Liqueur

Made with tart Montmorency Cherries, fully capturing the essence of the fruit and transporting one back to summer days.

Coffee Liqueur

Made with coffee beans sourced from Dona Fina Farms, produced in partnership with Doña Fina Cafe.

Gin No. 1

The distillery’s first gin release featuring a strong citrus aroma combined with refreshingly spicy ginger flavor, delicious neat, over ice, or in cocktails like Negronis or Tom Collins.

Grappa

Created from Missouri Norton grapes (grape pomace from area wineries), offering a distinctive regional character.

Pommeau

A blend of apple brandy and fresh apple cider from the family’s orchards, aged in used white-oak barrels that previously held apple brandy.

Raspberry Liqueur

Slightly sweet with full fresh raspberry notes, ideal for summertime cocktails and champagne-based drinks like a Pink Raspberry Bellini.

Ray County Rye Whiskey

Made with 95% rye and 5% barley mash bill using rye grown locally in Ray County, offering a spicy flavor mellowed by sweeter undertones from aging in Missouri white oak barrels.

Rum

Small-batch rum produced using farm ingredients, part of the growing spirits lineup.
