J. Rieger & Co. is an award-winning Kansas City distillery with a legacy dating back to 1887, founded by Jacob Rieger as America’s largest mail-order whiskey house before Prohibition shut down operations. In 2014, Andy Rieger, the great-great-great grandson of Jacob Rieger, relaunched the distillery alongside renowned bartender Ryan Maybee and industry legends Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and Tom Nichol, creating innovative spirits that blend heritage with modern craftsmanship at their historic distillery in Kansas City’s Electric Park District.
