About
Altered Spirits Distillery is a nano craft distillery housed in a historic 1895 blacksmith shop in downtown Slinger, Wisconsin, serving as the first distillery in Washington County since beginning operations in November 2022. Founded by husband-and-wife team Mike and Laurie Bauer, the distillery utilizes state-of-the-art automated processes and a custom-built 250-gallon copper pot still visible through glass fronts, crafting small-batch spirits primarily from locally sourced Wisconsin ingredients including corn, malted grains, and limestone-filtered water.
