Willow Run Custom Bourbon is a distillery in downtown Cincinnati, OH (645 Walnut St.) that honors the legacy of William J. McRoberts Jr., an Irish immigrant who founded a distillery there in 1865 and served as an Underground Railroad conductor. The distillery returns Cincinnati—historically known as the commercial birthplace of bourbon and home to over 100 barrel blenders in the 1800s—to its custom-blending roots, offering customers the chance to create their own custom blended bourbon using six unique wood finishes through their proprietary WoodCraft process.
