Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery is a locally owned craft brewery and distillery located in Nelsonville, Ohio, in the heart of the Appalachian region. They specialize in small-batch bourbon whiskey and craft beer, uniquely aging their bourbon in a restored railroad boxcar through a partnership with the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway to accelerate maturation through seasonal temperature and humidity fluctuations. The distillery also partners with Hocking College’s Fermentation Sciences program, giving students hands-on experience in craft brewing and distilling.
