Two James Spirits is Detroit’s first licensed distillery since Prohibition, located in Corktown, the city’s oldest neighborhood. They are committed to producing high-quality environmentally conscious handcrafted spirits using locally sourced Michigan agricultural products, aiming to revitalize the community and reinforce the craft spirit movement.

Based on the 28 Islands once located in the Detroit River where prohibition bootleggers hid smuggled alcohol, made from a blend of 70% corn and 30% organic winter wheat.

Blackthorn Bourbon

A smooth, full-bodied 5-year bourbon with notes of caramel, toasted spice, and stone fruit, inspired by a family legend involving an old Blackthorn cane.

Catcher's Rye Vermouth Finish

An homage to the Manhattan cocktail, this whiskey is finished in Sweet Vermouth casks for 6 months, bottled at 117.3 proof.

A 100% Michigan Rye mash bill whiskey with no barley, distilled from Michigan rye and Great Lakes water, aged minimum 4 years in new American oak at 98.8 proof.

J. Riddle Peated Bourbon

Named after James Riddle Hoffa, this mash bill consists of 79% Michigan Corn and 21% peated UK Barley, blending sweet corn American whiskey with medicinal peatiness of Islay Scotch.

Nain Rouge Absinthe

Starting with a traditional 19th century French recipe, distilled with Wormwood, Fennel, Green Anise, and over 100 pounds of botanicals for unfathomable depth of flavor.
