J.W. Kelly & Co. is a revival of one of Chattanooga’s most storied whiskey legacies, originally founded when J.W. Kelly arrived in Chattanooga in September 1866 and opened a storefront that expanded into whiskey distribution and eventually a distillery called Deep Spring Distillery. Today, that legacy is reborn in the heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee, producing distinctive whiskeys that honor time-tested methods while embracing a modern spirit, from carefully selected grains through patient aging and thoughtful blending.
