J.W. Kelly & Co. is a revival of one of Chattanooga’s most storied whiskey legacies, originally founded when J.W. Kelly arrived in Chattanooga in September 1866 and opened a storefront that expanded into whiskey distribution and eventually a distillery called Deep Spring Distillery. Today, that legacy is reborn in the heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee, producing distinctive whiskeys that honor time-tested methods while embracing a modern spirit, from carefully selected grains through patient aging and thoughtful blending.

Melrose
Chattanooga’s first-born Rye Whiskey finished in carefully hand-selected Amarone wine casks that add spicy and dry flavors while heightening notes of cherry and cinnamon.
Old Milford
A wonderful caramel-colored Straight Bourbon Whiskey with spicy flavor notes of oak, white pepper, vanilla, and English toffee, complemented by honey, baking spice, nutmeg, coffee, and fine chocolate on a long finish.
Old Milford Single Barrel Select
Hand-bottled and double-oaked Straight Bourbon Whiskey made from barrels 5-8 years old that are transferred to new American oak barrels for an additional 8-12 months of aging, giving each barrel its own unique personality.
Silver Springs
A Sweet Rye Whiskey originally produced from 1900-1919 made with corn in the mash bill and aged in #3 charred oak barrels for a minimum of four years, offering molasses, burnt sugar, and toffee with caramel, nougat, and hot cinnamon candy flavors.
