Donum Dei Brewery is a ten barrel craft brewery located in New Albany, Indiana, with an on-site taproom where most of their beer is consumed. The name ‘Donum Dei’ is Latin for ‘Gift of God,’ honoring historical brewers who credited divine assistance for successful batches. The brewery was self-built by its owners over eighteen months while navigating permitting processes, with CEO Kimberly Otey managing operations and brewer Richard Otey, a Doemens certified Beer Sommelier and electronics engineer, handling production.
