Founded in 2015 by Matt & Jaime Lamping in Indianapolis, Indiana, 8th Day Distillery is a locally-sourced, hand-crafted spirits producer located on the near East side of downtown Indy at 1125 E Brookside Ave. The distillery combines quality spirit production with community building, featuring a Bottle Shop & Cocktail Bar that opened in 2018, rotating seasonal menus, regular popups with local businesses, and quarterly artist exhibitions in a hip living room atmosphere.

Classic Rum
An artisanal, small batch, hand-crafted rum at 90 proof lovingly distilled from molasses and sugar cane sourced from a 7th generation family plantation in Louisiana, excellent for daiquiris, Cuba Libres, or Piña Coladas.
Corn Whiskey
A 100 proof corn whiskey made from 100% Indiana corn that is mashed, fermented, and pot-distilled, pairs well with blueberry soda and citrus for a drinkable blueberry pie cocktail.
Navy Strength Gin
A bold genever style gin at 115 proof with a balance of botanicals and a savory barrel oak finish, perfect for barrel-aged gin and tonics or barrel gin old fashioneds.
New American Gin
A bold American dry gin at 90 proof distilled with pronounced juniper notes, fresh citrus zest from grapefruit and lemon, and a hint of ginger, great for gin and tonics, Bee’s Knees, Gin Fizz, and Negronis.
Queens Share Rum
A premium rum at 59.5% ABV (119 proof) crafted exclusively from redistilling ‘tails’ cuts of their Classic Rum, creating a unique and complex spirit.
Rye Whiskey
A bold and spicy rye whiskey at 94 proof with a mash bill of 58% rye and 42% corn, aged at least 36 months in a Number 5 char 53 gallon oak barrel after double distillation, featuring notes of black pepper, vanilla, and rye.
Spiced Rum
A 90 proof spiced rum crafted from 80% molasses and 20% sugar cane with fresh orange peel and baking spices, excellent for tiki cocktails like Mai Tais and Painkillers, or mixed with apple cider served hot or chilled.
Straight Bourbon Whiskey
A 36-month aged three grain bourbon whiskey at 94 proof, double distilled and aged in a Number 4 char 53 gallon oak barrel with a mash bill of 70% corn, 25% rye, and 5% malt, offering tasting notes of brown sugar, smoky leather, orange marmalade, and toasted oak.
