VICARIO is a micro-distillery and farm operated by Renato Vicario and Janette Wesley located in Greer, South Carolina at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, featuring a 7-acre farm and 8000 square foot warehouse/distillery where they handcraft spirits and liqueurs using a garden-to-glass approach with ingredients grown organically on their farms in both South Carolina and Tuscany, Italy.

A dark chocolate and hot pepper liqueur bursting with pungency, carefully blending Criollo cocoa with estate grown Habanero chili, Bourbon Vanilla, and Cervia sea salt, offering notes of almond, vanilla, and antique rose petals alongside the habanero heat.
Crafted from the pomace of Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc grapes after vinification, lightly pressed and immediately transported to the distillery for distillation, producing a highly floral scented spirit in very limited production.

Based on Italy’s Piemonte tradition of cinchona bark steeped in wine with herbs and spices, transitioning from a bitter rush of quinine to a softer approach with dried rose petals, cloves, black plum, and bitter orange marmalade undertones.
