About

Founded in 1999, Richland Distilling Company produces authentic American Single Estate Rum through a unique field-to-glass process, growing sugarcane on their own Richland Estate and distilling it in two local facilities in Richland and Brunswick, GA, using copper pot stills and sustainable agricultural practices to craft award-winning, single-barrel rum expressions.

Spirits

Classic Reserve - Cask Strength

An undiluted single-barrel rum bottled directly from the barrel at 105-120 proof (52.5%-60% ABV), earning Forbes Magazine’s “Best American Rum” title, with cask details and bottling strength marked on each bottle via a Cask Tracer.

Imperial Brown Ale - Cask Exchange

A rum aged approximately three to four years that is temporarily transferred to barrels previously used by Terrapin Brewing Company to age their “TiramisuHoo” Imperial Milk Stout for about one year, picking up notes of vanilla, chocolate, sweet milk, and nutmeg over approximately 18 months.

Port Cask Exchange

A rum aged approximately three years that is temporarily transferred to barrels previously used by Chateau Elan Winery to age Port for about one year, acquiring warm notes of vanilla, caramel, oak, leather, and tobacco before the barrels return to the distillery.

Richland Rum - Classic Reserve

An 86-proof (43% ABV) single-barrel rum aged at least 5 years in new American white oak barrels, crafted with a six-to-seven-day fermentation and single-pass copper pot distillation, yielding a bourbon-like sipping rum with enormous character.

Virgin Coastal Georgia

An unaged, unaltered, and unfiltered rum distilled directly from the still and rested for 60 days in a newly toasted American white oak barrel before being diluted to 86 proof, showcasing the floral and vegetal notes of the estate-grown sugarcane.
