Back to ExploreDoc Porter’s is a grain-to-glass distillery founded in 2014 by Andrew and Liz Porter in Charlotte, North Carolina, named after Andrew’s grandfather Dr. Richard Porter. The distillery milled their own North Carolina wheat, corn, and barley in-house from a warehouse in the LoSo neighborhood, creating bourbon, rye, and malt whiskey. In 2020, they sunsetted the distillery and filled their final barrels, known as ‘The Last Call’—a finite release of patient whiskey that will never be reproduced once the bottles are gone.
